About Us
FactoryKart is a part of SMC group of companies. SMC was established in 2000, started with the aim of providing, Engineering and Marketing consultation, for Various Engineering & Timber industries in domestic and international level. We have offices in Chennai and Coimbatore.
Subsequently we entered into contracts for establishing clients in India for the suppliers in countries like Denmark, Netherlands, Malaysia and Singapore. This was done successfully with the help of the technical expertise on board.
As a further step, trading of various items was launched. Presently we are additionally involved in imports of timber preservative chemicals to supply to furniture and wood processing factories in India. We have also successfully exported and have done high seas trading of products from Malaysia to African countries.
PRESENTLY we have organised ourselves into 2 main verticals namely
1. ENGINEERING & Technology Division - (Manufacturing Sector)
- Manufacture & Supply of Equipment and Automation Lines
- Consultation support for Design and manufacture of Machines
2. TIMBER & WOOD Technology Division - (Furniture and Wood processing)
- Supply of Wood preservative chemicals namely PROTECTA
- Consultation support to Timber Industries.
